Earwigs
Adult earwigs are 1/4 -1’’ long with smooth, narrow, flat bodies. They are light to dark brown and some even appear to have a reddish-brown tint. They have six light-colored legs, long threadlike antennas, four wings, and claw-like appendages on their tail end known as pincers or cerci. Pincers are used to catch prey or as a defense mechanism. If they bite or pinch you, they are just trying to defend themselves. Earwigs are not poisonous, but people could react differently to their bites. Please consult with a doctor or health care professional if concerned.
* All people & pets will have to be out of the residence for 4 hours for all earwig treatments.
