  • Program Includes:

    • Initial service & up to 4 return visits, as needed to rebait and/ or dispose of rats
      * Return visits to be completed within 6 weeks of initial service.
    • First and second return visits will be scheduled based on Technician’s recommendations
    • Third and fourth visits will be scheduled if necessary to resolve the problem
      *Must be within 6 weeks of initial service, after 6 weeks a $105+tax service call will be charged if scheduled within 3-months of initial service.
    • Inspection of home for entry points
      *In some situations, we can do a temporary fix by putting copper wool in these areas. However, if there is a structural flaw on your home this is something you would have to address with a contractor.
  • Initial Service: inspection of entry points & placement of interior traps.

    *Credit card required. Will be charged after initial service is complete.

****Exterior Encased Snap Traps can be added for $50+tax each****
*Added to your service per your request. You can discuss with our trained technicians if exterior encased snap traps are needed and how many.

  • A $105+tax service call will be charged if there is no treatment needed.

*Rats are active at night. If you hear scratching or chewing in the wall during the day, then you would need to contact a nuisance wildlife specialist.

On the initial treatment, a Critter Ridders Technician will inspect your home to help determine where the rats may be entering. Snap traps and glue boards will be placed in areas of the home where the problems are occurring.

They reproduce quickly and can spread diseases such as salmonella, leptospirosis, and hantavirus. They are also hosts for parasites such as ticks, fleas, and mites that can also carry diseases.

  • What can I do to prevent a rat infestation?

    To prevent an infestation, all slots, or openings to the outside of the building need to be sealed off. Keep in mind that rats can fit through a 1/2 inch opening. If this is something you cannot do yourself, we suggest contacting a contractor to assist.

  • What is the difference between mice & rats?

    The most obvious difference between mice & rats is their size. Rats tend to be larger in size than mice. Mice have large, floppy ears and long, thin, hairy tails, whereas rats have small ears and long, hairless, scaly tails.

  • Is it safe for my dogs and cats?
